Position: Business Development Lead / 3PL Logistics

About the Role
Take your career to the next level within a growing 3PL logistics environment! We are seeking a Business Development Lead responsible for driving new business growth (90%) while managing existing accounts (10%). Join a dynamic team in a rapidly expanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new accounts through a strategic approach targeting clients seeking 3PL warehousing and transportation services.
- Achieve growth targets through cold calls, client meetings and professional presentations.
- Manage weekly administrative tasks: reports, Zoho/CRM updates.
- Develop account plans and quarterly activity reports for major accounts.
- Oversee account management, information tracking, monthly reporting and training.
- Support customer satisfaction, revenue achievement and retention.
- Consult with new clients post‑sale to address issues and ensure service excellence.
- Complete onboarding programs and operational requirement checklists for new or expanded key accounts.
- Master the full suite of services to effectively present value to clients (PowerPoint, presentations, etc.).
- Build strong operational understanding to align customer needs with company capabilities.
- Communicate frequently with operations leadership.
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with account managers
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in transportation (over the road) brokerage sales (required).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- High attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy.
- Dynamic, self‑motivated and personable communicator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong formatting and grammar.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and cross‑department collaboration skills.
