Position: Data Annotator, E-commerce
Location: Remote – Toronto, ON
Job Type: 6-month contract to start with a potential for extension
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday

Our client is searching for a Data Annotator to join their fast-growing team! As a Data Annotator, you will join the Catalog Content team to help curate and label high-quality catalog data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist business clients in getting set up through an e-commerce platform
Classify and verify production information and directly affect the customer experience
- Troubleshoot any issues that vendors may be having with the platform and escalate accordingly
- Support with additional tasks and special projects
- Assist with launching products and services on available retail platforms
- Assist with data labeling and data annotation projects to improve catalog quality
- Verify the quality of attributes through investigating various data points (e.g. image, external websites) to ensure we have high quality for these attributes
- Review vendor results for data quality workflows to assess vendor accuracy
- Review results for the brand workflow to standardize different variations of brands into the correct brand using internal/external research
- Maintain standards for high-quality catalog data and working with brands and content providers to source data

Key Requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Degree or diploma in Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2 to 3+ years of experience working with large sets of data and SQL
- Google Suite and MS Office is mandatory
- Knowledgeable in data curation, data labeling, and data annotation
- Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excel experience and exposure to Excel commands is mandatory
- Ability to learn new internal tools/in-house systems and processes quickly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team spirit
- Ability to work independently, proactive/resourceful
- Must pass a criminal background check
