Position: Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer (Angular and Java Spring boot)
Location: Toronto (Downtown) – Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Salary: $80–$90/hour INC
Job Type: 13-month contract

We are currently partnering with a leading Fintech company to hire a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer for a 13-month contract. This role sits on a core application team, supporting business-critical systems with high visibility and impact.
While the role is full stack by title, it is heavily frontend-focused, making it ideal for developers who are passionate about building modern, scalable UI applications using the latest Angular frameworks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Angular (latest versions)
- Work on a core, customer-facing application used across the business
- Collaborate closely with a small frontend team (2 developers) and cross-functional partners
- Build reusable, scalable UI components and improve overall frontend architecture
- Integrate with backend services (Java / Spring Boot APIs)
- Contribute to a spinoff team initiative while supporting the existing core platform
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to design and technical discussions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with Angular (v16+ / latest preferred)
- Solid frontend development skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience building scalable, maintainable UI applications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs)
- Experience integrating frontend with backend services
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred) is an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a lean team with high ownership
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in financial services / fintech environments
