Position: Mailroom / Workplace Services Assistant (Contract)
Location: Calgary, AB
Salary: $18 to $20 per hour
Contract Duration: March 23, 2026 – April 17, 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Mailroom / Workplace Services Assistant to support daily operations in their Calgary office. This short-term contract role will primarily support mailroom operations, courier management, and print services while delivering a high level of service to internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily mailroom operations including sorting, distributing, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
- Assist with print, copy, and mail services for the office
- Process payments and complete reconciliations related to mail and print services
- Manage and maintain inventory for mail, print, and copy stations
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Provide occasional support to facilities operations, health and safety initiatives, and other workplace services as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in a mailroom, distribution environment, or similar business operations or administrative support role
- 2–3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, facilities, or office support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor and collaborative mindset
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to support business needs within core hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
