Position: Manager, Workforce Operations
Location: Toronto
Salary: $105,000 to $120,000 per year
Work model: Hybrid Monday to Thursday in office / Friday remote
Travel: Up to 30%

Overview:
The Manager, Workforce Operations leads the design and execution of labour models that optimize workforce deployment across the organization. Partnering with field teams, Store Support Centre functions, and business leaders, this role drives productivity, supports sales growth, and enhances both associate and customer experience through data-driven labour strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain labour models using advanced analytical, mathematical, and statistical methods.
- Forecast short- and long-term staffing needs across the Canadian Division.
- Lead labour model rollouts, change management, and project execution.
- Deliver workforce analytics and insights to senior leadership.
- Conduct labour studies and assess productivity opportunities across departments.
- Drive cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with U.S. and Canadian teams to benchmark and share best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
- Partner cross-functionally to align labour strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in labour management, workforce analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven change management and project leadership experience.
- Retail experience and proficiency in analytical tools are strong assets.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP, P.Eng., Lean / Six Sigma
