Quantum has partnered with a reputable client in the professional services sector to hire a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support continued growth of our client’s brand and market presence. The ideal candidate in this role is a results-oriented marketing professional who enjoys managing diverse projects, contributing ideas, and developing expertise in legal marketing, business development, and communications. The successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of marketing and communications initiatives, including digital marketing, social media, events, and website content, while working closely with the Director of Professional Resources and Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Stay current on legal marketing trends, industry developments, and best practices.
- Ensure the firm’s website is regularly updated with accurate, current, and brand-enhancing content.
- Coordinate and execute the firm’s social media strategy; draft and schedule posts; create templates for ongoing initiatives; and prepare monthly engagement reports.
- Plan and execute firm events, including logistics, attendance tracking, and budget coordination; prepare post-event feedback summaries and evaluate event success.
- Identify relevant awards and directory opportunities; coordinate and assist with submissions and applications; ensure accurate firm listings; track rankings year over year, produce comparison reports, and identify new submission opportunities; maintain and update awards, accolades, and editorial commentary across legal directories.
- Provide direct support to the Director of Professional Resources and Business Development across all initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing or communications role within a law firm and/or professional services.
- Business Development experience with in a law firm or legal / professional service environment is highly desirable
- Strong time-management and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; excellent written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; self-motivated and proactive; strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in designing and formatting marketing materials, creating engaging visual content, and producing videos.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as required.
