Position: MuleSoft Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Reporting to Integration leadership, this role enables secure, scalable data exchange between internal and external systems, including support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
This onsite position is ideal for someone passionate about building high-performing APIs and integration solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build and maintain APIs, connectors, and data flows to integrate enterprise applications and external partners.
- Develop and support EDI processes to facilitate secure business transactions.
- Manage deployments, configurations, and runtime support across multiple environments.
- Translate business requirements into API specifications, mappings, and technical designs.
- Lead testing efforts, validate functional and non-functional requirements, and troubleshoot integration defects.
- Monitor and optimize integration performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and operational support materials.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting reusable assets, best practices, and modern integration standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in application integration and EDI development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of API design (e.g., REST, RAML/OAS), data transformation, and integration patterns.
- Experience with EDI standards and secure file transfer protocols.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- MuleSoft certifications considered an asset.
- Experience working in large-scale digital transformation initiatives preferred.
