We are looking to hire a Sales and Service Support Administrator for a great client in the electronic testing and measurement equipment distribution industry located in Mississauga. The incumbent will work with a team of Service Technicians to assist customers regarding their Test Equipment repair and calibration requirements. This individual will be the "face" of the service department and will communicate with customers and suppliers via email and telephone.
Responsibilities:
- Booking repairs
- Generating repair quotations
- Processing repair orders
- Customer relations
- Clerical accounting work in conjunction with in-house Accountant
- Assisting salespeople and repair technicians with customer service matters
- Shipping and receiving goods (this function is performed by all office staff)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a Commercial Customer Service Role
- Completed secondary or post-secondary education
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional demeanor, strong customer services skills and telephone manner
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite ( Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, functions, etc. )
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Teams and One Drive
- Strong data entry skills
- Curious mind not afraid to ask questions
- Attention to detail
- Dedicated, team player
- Comfortable with technology, for example, knowing what kHz MHz and GHz means
- Previous experience with shipping and receiving goods would be an asset
- Previous experience generating paperwork associated with importing and export goods would be an asset
- Ability to lift and move boxes (25 to 40 lbs. range)
