Position: Senior Application Support Analyst
Location: 4 days onsite, Downtown Toronto
Salary: $90K-$125K
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to oversee the daily support, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications across cloud and on-premise environments. Reporting to IT Service Management leadership, this role provides end-to-end support for business-critical systems, contributes to cloud transformation initiatives, and participates in a rotational on-call support model.
This is an onsite position offering exposure to multiple platforms, DevOps practices, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide monitoring, performance reporting, and operational support for enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis for critical issues, and implement preventative measures.
- Support application lifecycle activities including setup, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across multiple environments (Dev, Test, QA, UAT, Production).
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation of build and deployment processes.
- Support capacity planning, performance testing, and system optimization efforts.
- Assist with compliance, audit remediation, patching, hardening, and disaster recovery requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level applications.
- Experience with modern application architectures including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of application performance, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, source control systems, and automation scripting (e.g., Shell, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and cloud-based environments.
- Experience working within complex, regulated, or high-availability environments preferred.
