Position: Yardi Business Systems Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid Remote
Position Type: 12-month contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Our client in financial services is seeking an experienced Yardi Business Systems Analyst to support, optimize, and evolve its Yardi ERP environment. This role is finance-facing and delivery-oriented, sitting at the intersection of Finance, IT, and Operations. It is focused on system ownership, data integrity, reporting, and financial process improvement rather than day-to-day application or end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary functional owner of the Yardi ERP platform, partnering closely with Finance and senior business stakeholders.
- Translate accounting, finance, and operational requirements into system configurations, controls, and scalable process improvements.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize Yardi modules including Voyager, AP, AR, GL, Investment Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, and Construction Manager.
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial workflows, strong internal controls, audit readiness, and reliable reporting.
- Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing to ensure data integrity across Yardi and downstream systems.
- Design and deliver reports, queries, and data extracts for Finance and leadership.
- Lead and manage change requests, enhancements, upgrades, testing cycles, and UAT, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, and control frameworks.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Yardi vendor and external implementation or support partners.
Qualifications:
- Background in Accounting, Finance, Business Systems, or Information Systems.
- Hands-on, functional experience with Yardi Voyager or similar real estate ERP platforms in a finance or accounting context.
- Five or more years of experience in a Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, Accounting Systems, or Finance Systems role.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls within a real estate or asset-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to own system outcomes, work cross-functionally, and translate business needs into practical system solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
